SAN FRANCISCO, May 1. The Australian tennis team made an impressive showing at an exhibition of tennis to-day. Crawford defeated Ed Chandler, the former Californian State' champion, 6/3, 6/4. Sproule defeated Ra y Casey. 4/6, 6/1, 6/4. Sproule. teamed with Clemenger, defeated Phil Neer and Edward Levy, 7/5, 2/6, 6/3. Crawford and Hopmaiy defeated Gerald Stratford and Neil Brown 6/3, 4/6, 6/3. Ed’th Cross, th? Pacific CoaSt women’s champ'ion. defeated Mrs Jack Crawford, 6/4. 4/6. 6/3.
