RIFLE SHOOTING
GREY DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The third and final competitions for the Sports Medal were fired off during the week-end. A feature was the high scoring throughout, possibles being registered by President C. Richardson at 600yds and 700yds, and by Secretary M. Garth at 500yds. The result proved a popular win for M. Garth with a total of 299, J. Phibbs being runner-up with a total of 296. and C. Richardson next with 294. The following are the scores (seven shots at each range} :—-
The first competition for the Patron, Mr F. Badger’s trophies, will start on Wednesday next, to decide the championships.
