And yet he was, for forty years of his life, a hater of the weed. But he lived to know better. One day he -was tempted to smoke a cigar, found it delicious, and became a regular smoker! Tobacco is not injurious, be it knowm, unless it contains (as the imported brands often do) too high a percentage of nicotine. Then it may be deadly. The tobacco containing the smallest quantity of nicotine is the New Zealand. In fact, it is so small that it is negligible. Of course that makes it safe to smoke. And how soothing, mellow, cool and fragrant it is! The secret of its superiority is that it is toasted. There are only four brands: Riverhead Gold, Navy Cut No. 3, Cavendish and Cut Plug No. 10.
