DIVISION IN RANKS. CHRISTCHURCH, April 28. At the annual meeting of the Christ, ■church Return’d Soldiers’ Association, last evening, the largest ever held, remarkable interest was evinced to place a check upon the activities of what was described as the “dangerous clement” in the Association. I A new rule was adopted by 199 to (105 providing that every person on election to the executive must sign a , declaration affirming loyalty to the | King and Empire. i The out-going executive was re-elect-ed with one exception. j The meeting carried a resolution expressing dissatisfaction at the action of the R.S.A. headquarters regarding pensions. —■.
