tour Own Correspondent.! RUNANGA, April 28. Mrs Me Taggart who recently underwent an operation at the Grey River Hospital is doing well. Mrs W. Hambley junr., arrived from Wellington this afternoon on a visit to her relatives in Runanga. Mrs T. Steele is in a critical condition at the Grev River Hospital. Mrs Sharrock and Mrs IL Harwell who arc also inmates of the. Hospital are improving. The funeral of Miss Janet Hambley took place yesterday, and was attend ed by a very large circle of friends, while many telegrams and messages ot sympathy were received by the parents. The pall bearers were Messrs J. Connell, C. Boyd, _A. Thompson and N. Howard. The service at the residence bf the deceased’s grandparents, Mr and Mrs W. Hambley, Ward Street, Runanga, and at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. W. Bean mont.
