(Received April 28 at 9.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 28. A later report from Vila. New Hebrides, states that the cyclone struck Vila on Monday and Tuesday. Houses and stores were, unroofed, lighters were sunk, trading cutters were driven ashore, and much damage was done to the plantations. When the steamer “Malinoa” was blown on a reef near the island of Aboa her passengers were safely landed.
