WAIUTA NOTES

(Our Own Correspondent.) Mr John R. Pullman, of Dunedin, has been appointed headmaster at the Waiuta School, and takes up his duties in the near future. Three rinks from the Waiuta Bowling Club will visit Runanga on Sunday to play the Runanga Club. Should the weather continue fine a large number of local residents will be visiting Rapahoe for the annual League picnic. The Waiuta Tennis Club visited Cronadun on Sunday and played the Cronadun Club, the visitors winning, after a series of interesting games, by 13 sets to 9, and 136 games to 108 The local club speak in glowing terms of the hospitality extended to them by the members of the Cronadun Club.
