The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 28ft 6in. The Kalingo will leave Newcastle to-day for Greymouth. via. Napier with cargo. She is due on March sth to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle.
The Kini arrived yesterday moTu ing from Dunedin via Westport and will complete loading coal for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. The Miro sailed yesterday morning for Westport. The Poolta is scheduled to leave Bluff to-morrow for Wellington, New Plymouth, Westport and Greymouth, via Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton with cargo. The Karepo will return from Auckland to-morrow to load timber for Melbourne and Adelaide. The Rata arrived this morning and loaded coal for Wanganui. The vessel proceeded at noon to Westport to complete for New Plymouth The Kiwitea is due to-day from Auckland to load coal for Wellington and Auckland. The Titoki left Onehunga yesterday for Nelson, with general cargo for Westport and Greymouth. The Alexander leaves Timaru today, and Lyttelton to-morrow for Nelson, with general cargo for Westport and Greymouth. Captain Pearson, lato master of the Orepuki is now pilot of the Kaitoa.
