RAM SALE

(Per Press Association). 'MASTERTON, February 18. Buyers from many parts of the North Island attended the Masterton Ram Fair to-day, when flock and stud Romneys were offered. There was keen competition for quality animals, the prices realised for these being little in advance of last year’s. \lnferior and lighter sorts, of which there was a fairly large entry, were not sought after, and passings were numerous. Top price for studs was 60 guineas secured by A. L. Wheeler, of Marton; with A. E. Anderson (Taratahi) next with 57 guineas. Flock Romneys ranged up to 13 guineas.
