The Soviet Government has notified the League that Russia's land forces total 5C‘4,303, includirg 30;354 officers; air forces 28,658. with 49a9 officers, naval forces 29,039, with 2,397 officers, frontier troops of 45,390. The Soviet Fleet, including that of th a Black Sea, consisis of four capi. tai ships, three cruisers- 26 «te’s*royeTs, twenty submarines, two minelayers, six mine-sweepers, eight training ships and auxiliary vessels totalling 201,487 tons. The land, sea, and air forces possessed 750 aeroplanes. The total co.-t of upkeep of all arms is 120 million? sterling per year.
