LIVE STOCK MARKET Dragging Sale AT ADDINGTON. (Special to “Argus.”) CHRISTCHURCH, February 17. It was mostly a slow sale a t Addington live stock market to-day. Messrs H. Matson review the sale as follows; There was a large yarding of store lambs. With few exceptions the quality was medium and inferior... .Values were easier. It was a dragging sale. There was a medium entry of fat lambs, chiefly light weights. The market was easier, export buyers showing no keenness. Extra heavy prime lambs sold to 21s Id, prime heavy 17 s to 19s, prime 13s 6d to 16s 6d,’ medium Us 6d to 13s, light from Bs. There was a full yarding of store sheep, mostly ewes. It was a dragging sale. The fat sheep comprised mostly ewes. Best wethers met a better sale at an advance on recent rates. Other grades maintained last week’s values. Best prime heavy wethers sold to 19s 4d, prime heavy 16s to 18s 6d, prime 13s; to 15s 6d. medium and plai n 10s to 12s 6d. Best heavy ewes sold to 14s 7d, prime heavy 10s to 12s, prime 7s 6d to 9s, light from 4s.

Porkers sold from 30 s to 32s 6d. heavy 33s 6d to 36s 6d, choppers £2 to £6" 3s 6d, baconers 37s 6fl to 46s 6d, heavier 50s to 52s 6d, extra heavy to £3 2s 6d. Store pigs were easier.
