During the week-end a team representing the St. Columba Club journeyed to Runanga and played a strong local team. Although defeated by 20 sets and 175 games to 4 sets and 114 games, the visitors showed promise and many exciting games wen' witnessed A dainty afternoon tea. served by the ladies’ committee, was much appreciated bv all.
