END OF SESSION
DATE OF ELECTION House Hurries Up (Special to “Argus.”) WELLINGTON, November 8. The session is. expected to finish up on Wednesday. The election date will probably be December 2nd. Yesterday the members of the House were clearly keen to get tho decks cleared of Bills, but there was a certain tendency to talk to the electorates when matters of constituency interest were before the House. The House to-day spent an exceptionally busy day, disposing of the final reports from Select Committees order paper, including Washing-Up and passing several minor Bills on the Bills and the Alountain Guides’ Bill. Air J. O'Brien (Westland) spoke on the Alountain Guides Bill, generally commending the measure.
