' NATIONAL COUNCIL MEETING. I The half yearly meeting of the Minors’ Council was held in the N.Z. Worker Building, Wellington, on April ,15th. 16th, 17th, and 18th. All members of the Council were present. The linancial statement for the half year ended March 31st was accepted as satisfactory. The Shag Point Branch notified the Council of its intention of withdraw- , ' ing from the Arbitration Count. This i was approved of. and arrangements were made to assist the. branch to draw up a new agreement outside of the Court. I A protest from the Ngakawan , Branch against the reduction of wages of workers employed under the No. of ‘Scheme was endorsed and the secret ary was instructed to forward it to . rhe Government. i
