FATAL SCALDS
FROM HOT WATER BOTTLE (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 30. Scalds cuused by the bursting of a hot water bottle in bed, resulted in the death of Mrs Maria Anu Periy, aged 86 years, of Mount Eden. The bottle burst a,long a seam, and Mrs Perry was badly scalded. The medical evidence showed that death was due primarily to the shock of scalding. At the inquest, the Coroner expressed sympathy with the relatives.
