HAURAKI ELECTION

Country Party PUTTING UP CANDIDATE. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 30. The Country Party will contest the Hauraki by-election. Mr A. A. Ross, of Mission Bay, has been chosen as the party’s candidate. The selection was made at a meeting of the Party’s delegates at Papatoetoe. Other candidates so far announced are Messrs W. W. Massey (Reform), and C. R. Petrie (Labour).
