A NEWSPAPER POLL. NEW YORK, May 8. ? The. Newspaper 1 ‘Literary Digest in a further poll of 4,150,017 votes, has ascertained the following figures: 12,485,589 for enforcement; 1,231,849 for modification; and 1,669,579 for the repeal of the prohibition law. North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kansas and Arkansas cast a majority for strict enflorcemont.
