MAN MURDERED
His Money Stolen (Recd. April 17 at 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE. April 17. The dead body of James .Christensen, aged 55, an unmarried man, was discovered in a boxthorn hedge at East Colac. The police are convinced it is a case of wilful murder. Christensen’s head was badly battered. The victim possessed over thirry pounds sterling before his death, and the money had all gone when the body was discovered. Detectives found blood stained finger marks on a fence nearby.
