AUCKLAND’S NUMEROUS NOMINATIONS. AUCKLAND, April 17. For the Auckland City Council the nominations constitute a record, num boring sixty-seven, or six more than at last elections. DUNEDIN CONTESTSDUNEDIN, April 17. R. R. Black, J. S. Douglas, C. W. Hayward (Councillors), John McDonald an<4 Frederick VTones (Labour), were nominated for the City Mayor alty. For the Council there arc thirtv four nominations, including all the s’t ting Councillors, except the three for the Mayoralty, for twelve scats.
