The task is hampered by inadequate maps. Heath is taking petrol oil tu Coffee Royal to day. It is expect'd that the mudflat will bo dry enough tomorrow to permit the Southern Gross to take the air; she will go tu Derby. F rhe natives from the Port George Mission station are helping Smi'h and his party to get the monoplane to take off. Search for Anderson CANBERRA DELAYED. SYDNEY, April 17. The Canberra left Derby yesterday to search for the Kookaburra, but having got as far as Hall’s Creek, returned to Wyndham te have the radio generator repaired. Holden stated that all fires scon on the five hundred miles covered had boon investigated, but none revealed any trace of Anderson. Two R.A.A.F. planes arrived at Alice Springs, and will search from there. Captain Matheson’S Goulburn Moth is being repaired at Duehess He hopes to join the search on Monday. _________
