PASTURES RUINED.
BY MANAWATU FLOOD. PALMERSTON NORTH. Nov. 4. Between five and ten thousand acres of farm lands have been inundated by the Manawatu flood, which has coni pletoly ruined the spring pastures, causing the farmers severe loss, and a setback. The latest reports state the waters still are receding, but it will be some, -days before the Eangiotu district is clear.
