A meeting’ of the Nelson Land Board was held on Thursday last. Present: Messrs A. E. Waters, Commissioner of Crown Lands (Chairman), \V. C. Mirfin, G. McMahon and A. Bierworth to Edward Prior. —Approved. ER 89. Sections 605 and 744, Town of Reefton. Area 24.2 perches. 11. L. Robinson and F. W. Bierworth to Edward Prior. —Approved. OL 625. 2 acres 2 roods in Block XIII, Reefton Survey District. J. Dick to G. J. Dick. —Resolved to cancel the existing license and issue a fresh one in the name of Gordon Joseph Dick. OL 69. 7 acres in Block XIII, Reefton Survey District, J. Dick to G. J. Dick. —Rerolved to cancel the existing license and issue a fresh one in .the name of Gordon Joseph Dick. An application for laud, 500 acres situated in Block 111, Matiri Survey District was made by G. T. Irvine.— It was resolved to allow Mr Irvine to graze snowtops between Trent Peak and Ben Murray in Block ill Matiri Survey District at a rental of 5/- per month. . =. MDLO 237. The Waimea County Council forwarded proposals for tin* expenditure of thirds accrued to 31/12/27, £7 15s thirds accrued to 30th Sept 1927, £49 Is 0d; and thirds accrued to 31st December, 1927, £l9 0s 8d; The Waimea County Council for thirds amounting to £75 Is lid accrued to 30/9/27; the Takaka County Council for thirds, e.tc as follows:—to 30th June, 1922 and 30th June 1922, £4 6s Sd, to 30th Sept. 1926, £35 0s s<l, to 31st December, 1926 £ll 1.3 s 3d. to 31st Marell fl>27, £37 10s 3d. to 30. th Juno 1927, £5 3s Id, to 30th Sept. 1927, £24 Is 9d. The Upper Montero Board for thirds to 30th June 1925, £2 5s 0d; the Inangahua County Council for thirds accrued to 31st December, 1927 amounting to £8 7s -Id. The applications were approved.

The Conservator of State Forests, Nelson, forwarded proposals for expending fifths and tenths of revenue from State Forests from Buller County Council to 31/12/27, 17/11.—Resolved to approve of proposals of Director of Forestry.
