WEDDING
SUTTON-FENSOM. A very pretty wedding of considerable local interest was solemnised at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Honiara, yesterday afternoon, by Rev Cuttie, when Vera, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Fcnsom, of Church Street, was united in the bonds of matrimony to Mr Percy Sutton, of Kunipra. The Bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was neatly attired in a beautiful crcpc-de chine frock trimmed with radium lace and wore the orthodox wreath and veil and carried a beautiful shower boquet. She was attended by her sister, Joy, as bridesmaid. Mr Stan Gray carried out the duties of best man. After the wedding 'c efem on y, the party adjourned to the Methodist Ila?j where the wedding breakfast was served, and'the usual toasts were duly honoured. Tlie young couple were the recipients of hearty congratulations of a host of friends. They left later for IGreymouth cn route to Christchurch, wher c the honeymoon will be spent.
