GOLF NOTES

The Committee of the ('reymoulh Golf Club has decided to repeat this year the llnslof open tojurnamont. which was held with considerable success on tlic Omoto links last year. The principal event of the programme will be a stroke championship match to be played over 36 holes on Saturday 7th April, in conjunction -with which .1 here will be handicap events. On Easter Mon day. five, ball bogey handicap will bo played in the morning and a men’s foursome stroke handicap in the afterno n.

It is anticipated that .the links will be in fairly good order by the date of the tournament. Cameron’s ami Aston’s paddocks have carried a large number of stock during the summer, and .the grass has been well kept down, and the Committee hope to be able to clear the long grass and rushes from the fairways of the racecourse ami the first four fairways before. Easter. Members are notified that .the Annual Meeting of the Club will be. held on Tuesday the 27th inst.
