Otago v. Australia HOME TEAM DISMISSED FOR 171. GOOGLY BOWLERS TOO MUCH FOR THEM. DUNEDIN, February 26. The Australia v. Otago match was continued to-day in perfect weather. Tlie wicket was in good condition. The zisitors’ not out men, Jackson and Grimmett, continued, the former making 63 and the latter 59. The innings closed for 454.

Otago’s innings was a short-lived one, the whole side going out for 171. The googly bowlers, Grimmett and Blaekie. were deadly, the former getting six wickets for 23 runs, and the latter four for 27. Blunt (u2) and Zimmerman (36) were the best scorers. Australia batted again, Ponsford and Schneider opening, and playing out time for 71 (Ponsford 54, Schneider 17).
