AT TRENTHAM
SATURDAY’S SHOOTING. TRENTHAM, February 25. A right front, wind, with sighting good, were the conditions throughout the morning, when the second stage of the Marlborough match was completed. Sun glare in the afternoon, and a wind that varied, together with a mirage, made accuracy difficult. Mclver (Pctone), who was successful, shooting w r cll, also carried off the Auckland match, securing 4 on each range. Last year’s match was won by E. King (Wanganui) 91, and previously by 11. Tilson (Greytown), when the score of 91 was counted out.
