A cabl from Rome innounces the death of the Papal S cretary, Cardinal Benzani. Dr McKay, who has been visiting Christchurch, returned to Greymouth by Saturday’s express. The body was conveyed by train from Dunollie to the Karoro Station. The Runanga Band was in attendance, and played “The Red Flag” over the grave.
