The Hood waters of the Lachlan have arrived at Forbes, completely surrounding the town, but as the result of the early warnings, there was no danger to life and a minimum damage is expected. The town is completely isolated by road, and almost all the telegraph and telephone lines are down. The damage in the Hawkesbury district is estimated at £lOO,OOO. RAIN CEASES.
