The Art I’nion promoted by the Canterbury Cricket ami Tennis Associa lions, was drawn Y to-night the lirst six prizes being won as follows:— £lOOO.—F. Sandford, Christchurch. £5OO.- -J. Aitehison. Hamilton. £2OO. — I’. Maugher, Christchurch. £lOO.—M. G. Hendry, Taupo. £loo.—('. JI. Cooper, Annat. £lOO.—X. Jameson, Buckland. Thorp were ISO other prizes ranging from £5O to £5. The art union netted about £‘>ooo 1o each association. The tennis body will devote its share to equipping Wilding Park and the cricket body to providing coaches.
