The Sun Nexvspapcr Company, of Melbourne, has decided to cease' the publication of the 44 Evening Sun,” and have sold the Sun Pictorial to the proprietors of the Melbourne “Tieraid.” (Received April 26 at 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, April 26. ■ Txvo hundred journalists, composites and other newspaper employees will ■idle as the result of the closing down of the ‘‘Evening Sun.” It is ta.id that the loss incurred by the proprietor since the. paper, was first published amounts to between £120.000 and £150,. non.
