OPERA HOUSE. MATINEE TO-DAY. “The Vagabond Trail,” to be shown at the matinee in the Opera House to-day and again to-night is the story of Donnegan, a red-headed hobo who was redeemed through love for a girl. It is full of tense, dramatic interest. The audiences which have seen it have been extremely well pleased, as they could hardly fail Io be with Charles Jones starring and Marian Nixon play ing the lead in so excellent a. production. Marian Nixon makes a very appealing Lou Macon—well worth the sacrifice Donnegan makes for love of her. She always makes an effective leading woman for Charles Jones, because her politeness contrasts so strikingly with his massive strength, and her light -hearted gayety with his rather ponderous seriousness.
