DOCKERS’ STRIKE.

STELL GOING STRONG. LONDON, July 19. The Strike Committee in London officially announces that an appeal is being made to other unions for funds. It declares that the strike continues. Practically all the men at the Surrey. Commercial, and Tilbury Docks are idle. Notwithstanding the strikers’ optimism, the officials of the Transport and General Workers’ Union believe there will soon bo a general resumption of work. The Liverpool dockers have decided to return, and this is expected to have a powerful influence on the Londoners’ attitude.
