Ex-Soldiers Seek Concessions. (Aus. and N.Z Cable Assn.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, July 19. The Empire Service Conference resolved, on the motion of Colonel Dyett (Australia), to approach the Imperial Government to provide money to enable ex-imperial ex-service men to receive the same privileges as those accorded to ex-members of the A.I.F. The Conference also passed a resolution at the instance of Col. Hills (Australia) that, in order to facilitate lend tor settlement in the Empire, the Conference request the British Government to arrange a .scheme of concessions for the marketing of commodities, which should result in much increased settlement and production. General Wylie (South Africa), in seconding this motion, said that it would be right for the Mother Country to give concessions, especially in such far-distant dominions as Australia and New Zealand. It was decided to hold the next biennial conference in Australia, provided that there are no insuperable difficul ties.
