ANGLICAN SYNOD.
RISE OF NATIONALISM. SYDNEY, October 13. The Anglican Synod received two reports on the nexus question. The majority report set out that it was undesirable to authorise any legislation to destroy 1 lie relationship with Engl: nd. The- minority asserted that Australia having attained conscious nationhood, the Church of the Australian people must be free to make a direct appeal to Australian sentiment.
