CORRESPONDENCE.

TROTTING CLUB'S BOOTH. (To the Editor.) Sir, —As tho Greymouth Trotting Club are holding their meeting on the 21st and 23rd I would like to ask tho members of the Trotting Club what, arrangements they have made in connection with their publican’s booth, believe it is a fact that even at this late hour they are hawking their booth around the town at a certain price, such price being greater than they have ever previously got. What is their reason for turning down their previous publican who has always conducted their booths in a manner satisfactory to everyone? As the Trotting Club are lookiu . all round for profits, I would suggest to the publicans in Greymouth to let the Club have a go on their own. lam etc., AS A SPORT. Greymouth, Oct. 12. 1922.
