— WELLINGTON, October 11. The indications are for variable winds, moderate to strong westerlies ruling and veering to north westerlies. The weather in the East Coast districts is improving temporarily, but with increasing cloudiness, a change is following shortly. The barometer has a rising tendency, but is likely to fall again soon.
