SEAMAN DROWNED.
DINGHY CAPSIZES. WHANGAREI, October 10. I Berrianti Knip, aged 23, a sing man. with no known relatives in Ne Zealand, a member of the crew of 111 ’scow Schvyn, was drowned yesterda at Whangarci Heads, when taking kedge anchor shorewards in a din gin "When he was heaving the anchc overboard, one fluke caught in the gm wale, and capsized the dinghy. Kui vainly attempted to swim hack to th scow. The body has not been recov ered.
