WOOL SALES. LONDON, July 7. **ven thousand bales of B.A.W.R.A. New Zealand, crossbred wool have been withdrawn from the Hull Wool ss les on Thursday. Twenty-three thousand halos of Australian merinos and crossbreds will be offered. HOME WHEAT MARKET. (Ree. July 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 7. Wheat cargoes are threepence to sixpence lower, following on an American decline, and the collapse of the Continental currency exchanges. Parcels of ex-Austral Peak 54/6 per quarter, and ex-Australian May 53/3. Another parcel, shortly due at Liverpool fetched 53/. BUTTER PRICE UP. SYDNEY, July 9. From Monday, the wholesale price of butter here w ll be increased by 2d per lb. UNION BANK. LONDON, July 8. The Union Bank of Australia had a profit for the year of £619,318, and a dividend of 15 nor cent.; and placed to the reserve, £100,000; to the bank promises, £20,000. and carried forward £86,818.
