MISSING MEN.

NO NEWS YET. TAUMARUNI.T, June 27. There arc no tidings so far of Messrs Keller and Corlett, the men who are believed to be bushed between Waimiha and Taupo. Mr Keller is the District Engineer and Nir Corlett, Road Overseer, Public Works Department. It is stated that they had attended the sittings of the Railway Commission at Taupo and were returning accompanied by a Maori guide named Sullivan, who left them on Friday, having placed them on the route which they desired to follow to Mokai. They did not expect to reach Mokai till June 30. Mr Furkett, Engineer in Charge of Public Works, arrived at Waimiha, and will probably link up with the party who are searching. It appears that Mr Corlett sprained his ankle recently, and it is thought it may have given way again. THE MEN FOUND. AUCKLAND, June 27. A message from Taupo states that a beacon of fifteen miles away has been lighted. As this was the pre-arranged signal of tho finding of Keller and Corlett, a launch has gone to investigate.
