FRANCE AND PEACE.
JUSTICE OR WAR? [A. and N. Z. Cable Association] (Received May 29, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, May 28. M. Clemenceau, -when unveiling a memorial to the students of the Nantes Lyeee who fell in the war, said: “In 1914 we did not want war, and France does not want war to-day; but France does not want a dishonourable peace. We shall not abandon our Allies, but we ask for justice for our cause. They must not sacrifice our interests to other interests. We will do everything to maintain peace, but there are limits which we shall not pass.’’
