NUMEROUS SHOOTINGS. DAIL TO MEET IN JULY. [A. and N. Z. Cable Association] LONDON, May 27. A Dublin telegram states that the Irish Provisional Government has issued a proclamation assembling Parliament on J uly 1. Two British soldiers drove up to a post office in Dublin, in a motor cycle and side car. They entered the office, transacted their business, and were about to leave when two men shot them. One was killed. A father and son who served in the Black and Tans wore shot dead at Coot ehall. The arson campaign continues in Belfast where three factories were extensively damaged. The Fire Brigade was called out 21 times in rt hours. The I.R.A. headquarters at Beggar s Bush issued a statement abhorring the attack on British soldiers as un-Irish. There is reason to believe that the perpetrators were criminals, and the I.R.A. ask citizens to help to apprehend the culprits. I.R.A. PROCLAMATION. LONDON, May 27. There were seven incendiary fires <n Belfast last night, and four to-day. Thousands of pounds worth of damage was done. The. principal damage was to premises of Protestant firms.in the Catholic areas, but :■ bomb was thrown into a residence injuring three occupants.
