BOARDINGHOUSE BURNED
OCCUPANTS’ ESCAPE. HASTINGS, Alay -IS. A twelve-roomed boardinghouse in Karamu Road, owned by Airs E. Phil lips, and by Airs K. Bedford, was burnt to the ground this morning. The occupants, Mrs Bcbford, two young children and a- boarder, escaped in their night clothes.
