ELECTION POSTPONEMENT McGIRR CAVES IN. SYDNEY, Jan 18. After a protracted debate in caucus, Air McGirr withdrew his motion, and the election date will not be altered. SYDNEY, Jan IS. The Press was debarred from the caucus meeting, which was stormy till towards the close, when calmer counsels prevailed, and efforts were made to heal the Ministerial rupture. A special resolution imposing secrecy on the members was adopted. Mr McGirr reiterated his intention to abandon his seat for Federal polities.
