NORTH-EAST QUESTIONS.
(Reed. January 16, at 5.5 p.m.) GENEVA, January 15. The League of Nations Council (big Powers) has offered to seek a settlement of the Eastern Karelian question, if the Finnish and Soviet Governments arc agreeable. The Council has also offered to cooperate with the Allies with a view to assuring the protection of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire.
