ALLIES IN TRANS-CAUCASIA
(Rec December 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 7. A British official statement says that the entry of Allied troops into Baku and Batoum and other parts of Trans-Caucasia does not imply an intention of permanent occupation, but is made solely to enforce the terms of the armistice and to maintain order.
