TO-NIGHT'S CONTESTS.

Sporting enthusiasts vull muster in •strong force from all the country districts to see the two boxing contests set down for decision in the Town Hall to-night. All the contestants are reported fit and well, the visitors ODea and Morris having arrived from Waiuta and Christchureh ' respectively. There is very keen interest being shown in both contests,' and the supporters of ODea and Griffen are equally confident that victory will rest in their man 's * corner. ODea has some good contests to his credit in Australia, and he has the reputation of being a boxer 'of a high order. Griffen -is a- very - young -•'- boxer 1 with some fine contests behind him£ and with the great tradition of his three brothers to keep up, he has every indication of adding further lustre to tho name of the great boxing family. Ernie Morris, of Canterbury, gave the Greymouth boxing enthusiasts such a fine exhibition on his last appearance here that they are more than .anxious to see, him in action 'again. In his opponent O'Neill, he has a challenger worthy of his steel, and a fighter every 'inch. With two such fine exponents of the fistic art a splendid contest is assured. Mr. J. S. Nash is a referee in whom everybody has the utmost confidence, Sv. that everything promises well for a memorable evening's sport. The first bout will commence at 8 p.m., and. the big event will commence immediately after. The prices of admission are ss. to the stage, 3s. to the circle and the front of tbe hall, and 2s. to the back of the hall.
