GERMAN OFFICIAL NEWS.
(Received April 12, q. 10 p.m.) AMSTERDM, April 11. German communique states : — A British strong bombing attack on a crater south of Saint Eloi failed. The entire position remained in our hands. A French counter-attack at Ilaucourt and Bethincourt collapsed with great enemy losses. We captured a blockhouse south of Crows 1 Wood and also further defensive works south-east of Douaumont. Our anti-aircraft guns brought down two aeroplanes south-east of Ypres.
