DOMINIONS' DESIRE.
LONDON, December 27. The Globe, commenting' on the Dardanelles' withdrawal, says that although the great Dominions left thousands of their best and bravest on the dreadful ridges, yet there is no -woTd of reproach or recrimination 3 an- 3 liardly a word of criticism. All they ask is to be shown another way of getting at the Germans. | The Italian press is disappoiht:ed at the withdrawal, but says that the hope of forcing the Daridanelles has not been abandoned, though the strategic plan has been altered.
