RETURNED INVALID SOLDIERS. Privates B. MeManus, of Hokitika, and T. V. Mariscli, of Taranaki, arrived overland by the express last night. They weare mw -jy the Mayor and Lieut. Hopkins and welcomed back from the front by a fair attendance •of the public. Three hearty cheers were given the men on the call of the Mayor. Both men are looking well, and will be returning to the front shortly. They were billeted at the Royal Hotel 'for the night and proceed to Hokitika to-morrow.
