UNITED STATES CUTS OFF MUNITION SUPPLIES.

WASHINGTON, October 20. President Wilson has declared an embargo on the export of arms and ammunition to Mexico as the outcome of the recognition of Cari'anza. German Americans are demanding that he ought also to put an embargo on the export to the Allies. The Press points out that the two cases are radically different, as Carranza is still able to secure arms and ammunition because he is recognised as head of the Mexican Government.
